Near the end of october I was elected to be the future president of the UCF Solidworks Student Leader Program and will be leading the program for the upcoming year.

As a Vice President I shared the same responsibilities as a project manager with more involvement in other areas of the club. • An example being conducting presentations about SLP to students in other clubs and even to the Introduction to Engineering class at UCF a class which all freshman engineers are required to attend. • As Vice President I also took a more active role in working with other engineering clubs to find ways to benefit our organizations trough networking and project collaborations

As the project manager of SLP I used excel, google apps, slack and other free resources available to us to manage the information regarding over 800 students obtaining various certifications through our program.I achieved this by implementing various addititions:• Designed and redesigned systems and procedures that were used to conduct workshops and determine students voucher eligibility. This was my main responsibility and it involved managing many sheets, forms and documents that contained data of usually 100+ students every semester• Using the testing systems in place by SOLIDWORKS I developed sheets that would allow us to display important statistical and financial information about certified students. This was done to show our results and value as an organization to other clubs who would collaborate and invest in SLP• Prepared various introductory systems to ensure new team members could have access to the various tools and resources available to the program. New Team members once given access would have the instructions and resources needed to get involved make good contributions to the program

After obtaining my solidworks CSWA certification during the second semester of the program I was admitted joining the solidworks student leader program.At the time I joined the program was beginning to grow rapidly, and initially my main responsibility while getting acclimated to the program was being present at the programs workshops as a student aide. I would work alongside the instructor to help students during each workshop in constructing a solidworks part.To do this I would practice said part before each workshop, identifying what were the steps which would cause the most difficulty for students to be prepared.As the semester went on, I was given more responsibilities and my involvement in the club grew, especially when it came to management tasks, which eventually lead to my next position as the project manager of the program.
