At Xero I was given the opportunity to apply what had been my hobby of web development into a full-time position as part of their growing team of front end developers. Being introduced to better HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development techniques, and riding the wave of emerging JavaScript-based tooling and frameworks, I spent most of my time in Xero's Bank.

Taking an interest in the inevitable growth of mobile platforms, coupled with a wish to express more of my creative side, I transitioned into HP's new Mobility team to become its User Experience Designer where I was responsible for overseeing a client's mobility vision from concept to fruition, as well as the development of graphic design elements, all the.

Fresh out of university and coming aboard through the EDS (now HP) NZ Graduate Programme, I became a valued member of the Java team to lend my skills to the development of a variety of web-based enterprise systems for local and international customers, as well as use this time to significantly expand my abilities as a programmer.
