Emanuel Sánchez, Electromechanical Engineer and Researcher. I like Languages, Poetry, Literature, Writing and New Challenges.I studied at Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá. My thesis study was the exergetic analysis of a Loop Heat Pipe, a capillary-driven device that makes possible the heat transfer from a source to to the other with practically no losses. It involved a lot of study of thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics. Though difficult, researching gave me strong analytical skills.As to my professional carreer, my current work as Sales Engineer in LG allows me to be involved in four areas I enjoy working at: Sales, Engineering, Customer Service and Air Conditioning.My first job was in Customer Service at Blue Moon Overseas. I found out that helping others find a solution is something I enjoyed doing. My second job was as a Tech Support Agent in COMCAST, where I learned basics about technical sales. At Fire Protection Panama as a Field Engineer, under Project Manager Avilio Blanco. Under Eng. Blanco I learned a lot about managing the human resource, planning and execution realistic schedule estimation.In LGE Panamá, at first as a HVAC Academy Assistant. I assisted Trainer Myron Atencio in VRF Product Courses (Design, Installation, and Troubleshooting). I learnt to always plan for the worse, and the importance of having a backuplan.I moved to Sales Tech Support later a couple of months later, and together with Eng. Luis Valdes supported Ecuador, Central America, Venezuela and The Caribbean, under Eng. Albert Chan. I was focused in VRF Caribbean Market Training, Technical and Sales Support. Working at LG taught taught me a lot.For three years I worked at Panasonic in RAC/Light Commercial Distribution and VRF Product Sales for Central America, Panama, Ecuador, and The Caribbean. I learned a lot more about sales, negotiation, planning and strategy, sellout, collection, as well as operative aspects of after sales process for both VRF Projects and Consumer Products.In the last year being in Panasonic I was also in charge of Product Compliance, for Room Aircon (RAC) and consumer product (RETIQ Colombia; INEN Ecuador & DGNTI in Panamá), as well as Light Commercial & VRF Service Support.Now I am back in LG as a Regional Sales Engineer I am providing support (technical and sales related) for Chiller & Rooftop units, and continue to support VRF and Light Commercial through trainings and technical support for Central America & Caribbean Market.
