About Eric Margadonna
Grew up around computers my whole life, and loved them since the start. In middle school I got into PC building and then robotics and microelectronics in High School. I also joined my Father's small business around this time to get some hands-on experience in the IT industry. During my college years, I grew to enjoy the more artistic side of computing, taking challenging courses in Game Development, Journalism, Podcasting, and 3D Modeling and Animation. Expecting to receive my Bachelors in IT in Spring 2023, I am excited to enter the industry to build computing and information systems while maintaining my creative and open-minded lens on my work.

CurrentBusiness created and run by my Father, Robert 'Bob' Margadonna, I have been around the company and its operations since I was a child. At RAM Computer, I chiefly serve as a Point of Sale hardware technician for Wakefern branded Shoprite stores as well as Village Markets across the tri-state area. I began by doing field work at the stores, providing on site repairs and replacements for hand scanners, scanner scales, customer and cashier facing touchscreens and displays, receipt printers and laserjet printers. In addition to this, RAM Computer provides on-site support to dentist's offices running small or large backend servers with proprietary software.In recent years, our Point of Sale service has shifted mostly to dealing with the hand scanners. Much of my work involves the diagnosis, repair, and testing of hand scanner units that are sent back from the stores.
