Western Regional Sales Manager
CurrentAs the Western Regional Sales Manager for ICM Controls, an electronic controls manufacturer, I championed sales growth efforts for the Western U.S. sales territory consisting of almost half the country.I identified the needs of different markets and managed marketing issues including determining which products to promote. In this role, I built strong, win/win relationships with industry executives, enhancing industry partner organizations’ knowledge of ICM Controls products and ability to sell ICM Controls products to customers. I co-designed annual incentive plans with distribution partners that rewarded customers for purchasing ICM Controls’ products at certain levels. In addition I sponsored events for distributors’ customers to promote the brand and strategically invested approximately $50K to promote the company’s product set.All these efforts paid off, with 21% sales growth in fiscal year 2018 and 14% sales growth in fiscal year 2019. By focusing on enhancing the value added to key partnerships with 4 manufacturer’s sales representative agencies and 100+ distributors, implementing national sales plans and facilitating special programs and promotions, ICM Controls Western Region had two stellar years.
