As the opinion editor for my high school's newspaper (in my second year on the newspaper staff), I wrote many opinion pieces, including the monthly editorials. For the editorials, I led editorial discussions and my editorial working group. I have a lot of experience with editing staff writers' pieces, and guiding them through the process of completing their stories. I also created the opinion page for the monthly print edition, using InDesign.

I tutored an incoming 6th grader in math skills over the summer.

I was an aide for TVCJ's Jewish Cultural School, working with kids to keep them on task and engaged. I also helped lead crafts, cooking, music, and dancing. Last year, new aides were brought in and I became a senior aide.
