As a Marketing Assistant and Activities Coordinator, my dual role seamlessly blended creative and organisational skills. As a Marketing Assistant, I was responsible for creating engaging digital content across various platforms and channels, including social media and email campaigns, contributing towards an enhanced digital presence for the company. As an Activities Coordinator, I was part of a rejuvenation project for Jump Jersey craft activities, improving the product offerings. I also meticulously planned and delivered craft activities and birthday parties, handled communications with customers and retailers, and managed supply orders. My experience at Les Ormes has allowed me to excel in both roles, creating a dynamic and enriching work environment.

I took on this role, part-time while studying a year of Midwfiery at Bournemouth University. In this role at Colten Care, a respected care home, this position came with significant responsibilities, as I was entrusted with the vital task of ensuring the safety and well-being of the residents to an exceptionally high standard.On a daily basis, I approached my role with professionalism, whilst maintaining a warm and compassionate demeanour for the residents. I consistently interacted with residents, their friends, families, and colleagues in a friendly manner. I would endeavour to ensure that I would go above and beyond to guarantee their happiness and satisfaction, which allowed me to build a building strong and trusting relationship with each resident. As part of my probationary period within this role, I completed a Level 3 Care certificate, which I accomplished successfully. This certification equipped me with valuable knowledge and skills that I applied daily in my role as a carer.

During the Summer season before starting university, I served as a Catering Assistant, embracing a role that significantly enhanced my sense of responsibility and operational skills.Daily responsibilities included:-Showed leadership and coordination by helping to organise my younger colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the shift. -Successfully dealt with customer enquiries and complaints, demonstrating my strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.-I made a variety of beverages and treats, including coffees, milkshakes, and whippy ice creams.-I work on the till, taking and managing orders, processing payments, and issuing refunds. -Answering the phone.This experience expanded my skill set and solidified my ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
