I founded BitFinance as a Public Benefit Corp with the mission of democratizing finance. We sought to provide retail investors access to a blockchain-backed online secondary-market for syndicating private alternative investments. Over two years, I raised >$800K in seed capital, and recruited and managed a team of over half a dozen rockstars. Together we built a working beta alternative investment platform including frictionless investor onboarding and investment funding. I was responsible for all branding and content, including websites, whitepapers, and thought leadership pieces; product design; fundraising; partnerships; managing all legal; and pitching, speaking and evangelizing at conferences, panels, and events.

I oversaw all branding, content, product design, manufacturing, marketing, distribution and sales. I sold the Company in 2019.

As Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Glass Chart, I led our efforts to develop a realtime location and notification services infrastructure for deployment in hospitals. Working with our CTO and front-end developer, I managed all aspects of product development for our Smart Hands product. Smart Hands utilized low energy bluetooth transmitters and wrist-top android devices to monitor users' location in a medical clinic or hopsital as well as monitoring for hand-wash events in order to gamify hand hygiene adherence and thereby reduce hospital acquired infections. We successfully built and beta-tested a working version of the platform and app in conjunction with a clinic owner who was a partner of our Digital Health Tech accelerator. I was responsible for all UI/UX, product specs, and managing development timelines, as well as managing hardware vendors.

I joined Zynga to help institutionalize the company's Net Promoter customer loyalty program and evangelize it across studios. I then took over all research for Zynga Poker in order to drive NPS to record-highs in the Company. Working with cross-functional teams, I helped conduct design research, A/B testing, customer heat testing, rapid iterated testing, usability testing, play sessions, and customer ethnography.I subsequently managed Zynga's Benchmarking and diagnostics program, which evaluates all Zynga new IP prior to launch, as well as partner and key competitor products. By linking survey and in-game data to concrete operational and business metrics, I delivered actionable recommendations about strategy and feature development to partner studios, as well as third party developers.

The project is focused on utilizing computational text analysis methods to model cultural evolution using scientific and patent abstracts. The goal is to understand the role innovation plays in driving cultural differentiation, selection, and transformation by analyzing the effect semantic and population variables describing articles and major thematic topics have on their citation success.
