In 1998, I graduated from the University of Antwerp as an economist. I went straight into the IT sector. For service provider CSS, I helped to build the consulting division based on SAP.In 2002, I started my first business, E-Chain Management. Together with a strong team we set up thriving business activities in Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Switzerland. When the company was taken over by integrator Ordina in 2008, it had 120 employees. As a member of the Ordina Belgium board, I managed a large part of the delivery organization. Later I oversaw the transition from a competence-based to a solutions-oriented business model with the aim of creating value for the business. The urge to put my own ideas into practice took over again and I decided to found Gumption mid 2012.I have great respect for entrepreneurs with innovative ideas. With Gumption I want to help young consulting & tech companies to be successful in the long term. Not in the same way as a venture capitalist or a management consultant: I want to use the experience of the Gumption team and participate in an operational way, respecting the individuality of each company in the portfolio. Gumption also wants to participate financially and share the risk. Continued success requires engagement. Gumption can also be a reliable partner for venture capitalist in order to safeguard and leverage their investments.
