Working within the marketing services division of DataCenter Dynamics (DCD), I produce digital content, including case studies, panel discussions and fireside chats on the most relevant and industry-pressing issues within data centers.This involves researching and networking within industry executives, copywriting, speaker invitations and liaison and online moderation in various formats within my channels: Energy & Sustainability, Construction and Investments & Markets. Keeping abreast of relevant industry information is vital for producing broadcasts that will meet and exceed viewership targets for our audience & clients.Working within broadcasting has given me a good understanding of digital & marketing services, including video-editing, marketing, client relationships and on-demand promotion.As many of my broadcasts are regional (North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific), I have an understanding of regional and global data center markets, and am used to working across different time zones. Working within different regions and with external communications teams requires excellent communication & organisational skills, and I have been able to hone my online and in-person moderation skills through moderating DCD broadcasts and at DCD>Connect events.I work closely within internal marketing & client success teams in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients, and with external industry experts to maintain a visible presence with the data center market, and keep up with the latest industry developments.In my previous role, I was a Conference Director with a background in data, technology and information security. I was able to absorb large amounts of information quickly in order to produce the most interesting and relevant programmes in the industry, networking with senior executives to understand key talking points.
