I led the team of seven Foundation Relations staff responsible for securing and stewarding funding from private, professional foundations in the U.S. and abroad in support of CI's efforts to protect and sustainably manage nature for people.

At the Feminist Majority Foundation, I contributed to a broad range of development and communications activities, including foundation grantwriting and editing, online fundraising, web content development and planning, special events, media outreach, and online advocacy.

For six months, I supported the communications team at Population Connection, including with the release of their 2001 Kid-Friendly Cities Report Card. As a Development Assistant for the subsequent eight months, I researched the organization's existing donor base to identify major donor prospects.
