Responsible for facilitation and resolution of any outstanding coverage issues, with support of Head of Advocacy and other claims advocates. Involved in conducting data analysis to establish the claims history for clients or business portfolios and the identification of trends and patterns in claims for clients and business segments.

Scoping duties include photographing damaged/non-damaged items, obtaining necessary measurements, diagramming damaged areas, and initiating discussions of damage with insured. Further duties include labeling of photos, writing report narratives, and preparation of estimate. Perform re-inspections of claims in an effort to reach agreed scope of damage and handle supplements to initial claims in accordance with insurance carrier guidelines. Meet timeliness and quality guidelines set forth by insurance carriers and independent adjusting firms. Act as a liaison between insured, independent adjusting firm, and insurance carrier.

Examine program and project costs and determine potential relevant capital cost reductions. Identify key risk transfer strategies through review of contract instruments such as Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Joint Operating Agreements (JOAs), IADC Drilling Contracts (footage and daywork), lease agreements, and construction contracts.Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with key underwriting partners. Utilize risk analytics and associated data to determine proper coverage structure and placements.Analyze and implement behavioral-based safety initiatives designed to reduce and eliminate lost time incidents. Track direct and indirect cost reductions resulting from safety process implementation.Develop claims management programs to track claims costs, develop trend analysis, reduce and eliminate claim reserves, and determine relevancy for underwriting considerations.
