I've been fortunate enough to lead and innovate in the marketing field, combining my passion for design, effective communication, and a drive to make a meaningful impact. Currently, I'm the Head of Marketing at Vala AI, where I'm immersed in the challenge of tackling technical debt through advanced AI solutions. My role involves steering our brand's visibility, engaging with our audience on a deeper level, and fostering a culture of creativity and forward-thinking within our team.Before this, I had the pleasure of serving as the Executive Director of the North America t Network Operators Group (NANOG). I focused on strategic direction, outreach, and enhancing our online presence, all while pushing the boundaries of design in our industry. I also co-founded Kaskadian, supporting startups with their marketing needs, and took the helm as CEO of Verilan, guiding the company to deliver exceptional, timely network solutions.My experiences have ranged from Vice President of Internet Marketing at Respond2, navigating the evolving online marketing landscape, to Creative Director for the WiMAX Forum, where I contributed to shaping the future of connectivity. In the computer industry, I had the privilege of developing training solutions for respected brands and organizations, helping to advance their technological capabilities and strategies.Teaching has always been a passion of mine, leading to the creation of the first web design program at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. It was a rewarding experience to guide and inspire the next generation of designers and media professionals.Outside of my professional pursuits, I'm deeply committed to giving back to the community, mainly through theater productions that support local charities. I also find joy in home remodeling, which allows me to express my creative side personally.
