I have more than ten years of professional expertise working at different fields within Integrated Care Organizations, leading and coordinating programs, departments and teams such as primary healthcare centers, learning programs, skills development, strategic plans, management by objectives (MBO), evaluating healthcare plans and developing clinical units.MD, PhD. I held a degree in Medicine and Master in Infectious Diseases from UAB (Universitat Autònomoma de Barcelona). After working as a doctor (GP) at different public and private healthcare centres I focused my career in healthcare management. Innovation management in healthcare organisations was the focus of my doctoral research. I have complemented my executive education at ESADE (Hospital Management Program: PGH), (Program for Mangement Development: PMD) and Leadership Program. At IESE: (Management Skills Development: CAD) and Project Management Program. I also did recently the CRAASH program, organised by Biocat and sponsored by the EITHealth in order to help research projects to reach the market.In the last years I shifted my focus towards R+D+i and change management , leading the Research and Innovation unit and promoting programs and projects to spread innovative culture and drive forward innovation activities and projects thorough the organization. I have reached agreements with different hospitals, companies, technological centers and Universities to promote research and innovation projects, promoting open innovation activities and setting up R+D+i networks and agreements.
