As a student in the School of Journalism and Communications, I have developed valuable skills in business and communications. In the Gateway to Media course, I gained hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere by interviewing four locals in Eugene and creating audio, video and photographic storytelling interviews. In my current position as a Communications Coordinator at Six Words Communication, I manage the company’s content calendar every week, and distribute promotional materials and future events with Canada’s National Ballet School. Additionally, my internship in Argentina at vAIsual, gave me the experience to communicate globally, and direct those even with a language barrier.
