I’ve spent the last year learning everything there is to know about the lithium-ion battery industry. I’m currently applying this knowledge in my role as Global Product Manager for Siemens, where I’m responsible for special applications within fire safety for these lithium-ion battery cells.

This train develops the climate system, wheels, tires, chassis as well as steering and braking. In 2015, I joined the ‘Volvo Cars Climate department’ and more specifically the advanced engineering development of in-cabin air quality products, such as filters, ionizers, and air purifiers. At an early stage, Volvo Cars recognized air pollution as a major problem for people all over the world, but there were few products on the market. In 2013, I was promoted to Global Product Line Manager. The position included responsibility for the complete fire extinguishing portfolio from Siemens, including its strategy, product development, and sales activities. I worked closely with both R&D, and our regions.

My journey began at Siemens as Product Marketing Manager for Siemens automated extinguishing portfolio, Sinorix. During the 2 years, I was responsible for the development of our B2B marketing activities and the implementation of our global sales strategy. The position also included developing and performing classroom-based sales training to our key regions in Europe, the US, and Asia.

In 2010, I completed a six-month internship at Google in Stockholm, as an Industry Analyst. This gave me the opportunity to write my Master Thesis for the Google Commerce team in London. This resulted in a market analysis of how Google strategically should enter the European market of mobile payments with NFC technology.
