The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is a charity founded in 1826 for conservation science and applied conservation. ZSL’s purpose is to inspire, inform, and empower people to stop wild animals from going extinct. This is realised by carrying out field conservation and research in over 50 countries across the globe and through education and awareness-raising. Combining all analyses on the Congo Basin and the importance of this green lung for the earth, ZSL has decided to search for solutions for developing sustainable businesses and funding alternatives for conservation in this area. They have chosen to focus on the Tri-National Dja-Odzala-Minkébé (TRIDOM) region in the Western Congo Basin, encompassing Cameroon, the Republic of Congo, and Gabon. This zone is a crucial area for biodiversity conservation.TRIDOM is known for extensive forests that occupy over 97% of the area. It has a low population density (around 1 person per km2) and road infrastructure. This location is crucial for animal conservation, with around 25,000 elephants, gorillas, and chimpanzees living there. The region also has an Indigenous BaAka community of around 10,000 individuals.For ZSL, ecotourism initiatives are considered crucial within the context of sustainable financing for the local economy, providing robust livelihood alternatives for communities that have historically lived in harmony with nature, especially in light of industrial resource extraction and mining influences.

In the framework of the Digital Transformation Center (DTC) project in Benin, we organized 10 networking events nationwide. As part of the project, I supported the management of event communication- Event Promotion: Creating promotional materials such as flyers, posters, or digital graphics to advertise the events.- Social Media Management: Managing social media accounts to promote the events, engage with attendees, and share updates.- Email Marketing: Developing and sending out email campaigns to inform potential attendees about the events and encourage participation.- Coordination: Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth planning and execution of the events.- Feedback Collection: Gathering feedback from attendees to evaluate the success of the events and identify areas for improvement.

WWF work with the National Agency of National Park of Gabon (ANPN) for the conservation of the Gamba Protected Area Complex (CAPG), which includes 2 National Parks, Loango and Moukalaba Doudou. - Diagnostic of the situation of community-based tourism in the CAPG and Gabon.- Propose an action plan for developing Community-Based Tourism. - Develop a business plan for the CBT.

Intrepid Entrepreneurs is an NGO specialising in guiding healthcare companies in Africa. Kosmotive is one of the NGOs / companies selected by the programme. They have developed Kosmopads. It is a social enterprise that manufactures and sells washable sanitary pads. They are based in Rwanda. - Diagnosis of the company's strategies; - Market analysis ;- Proposal of inclusive, 360° and conscious sales, marketing and communication strategies; - WASH management

W National Park - Benin

- Built the business model and sustainable business strategy plan to generate income for the park based on taxation of livestock and park resources. - Built the business model and sustainable business strategy plan to generate income for the communities based on agricultural production. - Elaborated a marketing plan with the brand "PURE W Benin" to create a marketing and communication value for the local product, with a natural and socially positive vision. - Conducted market research and analysis for the development of agricultural and handmade products from the park and surrounding area.- Handled partnerships between communities, the park and the private sector for commercial development.- Managed and implemented the department's annual budget with a 5-year development forecast based on investment and net income.- Develop a work plan and action plan with a 5-year vision (tourism and commercial).- Drafted memorandums of understanding for commercial agreements, notably with Koster Keunen and Win Miel. - Managed the social media on Facebook and Instagram.- Developed a community tourism experience in 7 villages.- Created the tourism development plan and the marketing plan for the park. - Implemented the first lunch experience in the W Benin National Park.- Monitored management of the REDD+ project with the support of consultants.- Set up an educational circuit for environmental education

Led the entire process of development, marketing, and operation, with a team of 5 to 30 staff members. - Researched and implemented measures to improve the company's environmental responsibility. - Worked on obtaining the ChildSafe Tourism label certifying that the company protects children.
