With a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Hamilton College, I have a strong interest in culture, identity, and social justice. I applied this knowledge and perspective to my role as a teacher at The Windward School, where I developed and delivered the language arts curriculum, assessing the learning outcomes and providing feedback to the students. I also participated in the professional development and mentoring program, enhancing my pedagogical skills and knowledge.I have a passion for serving and empowering youth, especially those from underrepresented and underprivileged backgrounds. I gained valuable experience as a program facilitator at MIT Office of Engineering Outreach Programs, where I coordinated and implemented the MITES Saturday program for high school students. I helped them discover their interests and potential in STEM fields, and provided them with mentorship and guidance. My future goal is to continue to serve and empower these communities, and to further my studies in anthropology.
