About Emely Thompson
I was 16 years old when I first became interested in Pharmacology. A family member had been put on the drug Herceptin and I became particularly fascinated by how this drug worked and what it was doing to the body. This led me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Pharmacology and later graduate school (MSc and PhD). Along the way, I developed a passion for asking questions and creating ways to try to answer them. This has led to 7 peer-reviewed research articles, 4 of which I was the first author of.Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and experiencing different cultures and food. I’ve been lucky to have had the opportunity to live, study and work in many different environments and countries which has only fuelled my travel bug!Skills:• Data Analysis• Cell Biology• Molecular Biology• Electrophysiology• Assay Development• Written and Oral Communication
Listed skills include Cell Culture, Dna Extraction, Pcr, Real Time Pcr, and 24 others.
