She is a Social Conflict Management expert with over 1000 cases, including communal land ownership disputes, women's land rights, child custody, widows' disinheritance, etc.Skilled social advocacy professional with long-standing experience and interest in peacebuilding and social coexistence, an accomplished gender advocate, well vested in social reintegration, rehabilitation and collaborations with Government and other development partners through the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), where she served as Chairperson from 2018 - to 2021.In the past 15 years, she has actively led the provision of temporary shelters for survivors of sexual and other gender-based violence.She is currently studying for her PhD. in Women and Children's Protection and has been using her skills and knowledge in ensuring women and children have easy access to justice.She is a Director and Head of the Akwa Ibom State Government Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Response Department in the Ministry of Justice, Uyo.
