About Emer Fallon
I'm a poet and fiction writer, and environmental educator, living in the West Kerry Gaeltacht. My poetry collection Thin Lines was published by Salmon Poetry in November 2023 and I'm currently writing and illustrating a children’s book featuring a short playful text in Irish and English, exploring our connection with the natural world in a changing climate. In 2021 I co-founded Cúinne an Ghiorria, a bi-lingual educational programme delivered to nine West Kerry primary schools between February 2022 and Autumn 2023, designed to nurture a sense of stewardship and joyful connection between pupils and their environment. I love exploring the connections between culture, climate and creativity through my work.
