As training is heavily driven to sustain constant communication with several guards at once, instantaneous feedback and physical/mental awareness is essential for comprehensive success during drills, real life scenarios, and scanning on deck.

Currently volunteering in the Molecular Biology & Biochemistry lab of Esther M. Verheyen, Ph.D.. General lab duties: Prepping laboratory resources and equipment, preparing gels, performing microscope dissections, recording and documenting observations. This lab focuses on new research involving signal transduction of various protein kineases including Hipk and Wnt on a genetic, molecular and biochemical scale.

Certified Red Cross First Aid Instructor. My focus is to implement Red Cross first aid programs for the first time at the Crescent Beach Swimming Club; This will largely affect members of the CBSC who will now have the option to enrol in first aid programs. My goal is to increase community first aid knowledge as well open an ease of access to professional programs.

Working with James Watson (Director CBSC Sailing) for three years 2015 - 2017; now Troy Anderson and James Watson as program co-directors for 2018. I have learned an innumerable amount of lessons and experiences which have positively influenced my professional and personal complexion. This experience has enabled my ability to recognise passions and carry out tasks with infinite drive and motivation. As the Head Coach of Sailing, I directly supervise 10 employees and several volunteers, coordinating events, monitoring finances, recording payroll, scheduling, and employee discipline/policy creation management. In the past, I have created and implemented new training procedures and programs to compliment new equipment, rec programs, and safety strategies; managed the sales of old equipment, built lesson delivery plans, and improved coach uniforms and wages.
