AVPO is a specialised division under Technology & Industry Development Group that leads the strategizing and orchestrating of various efforts to promote the growth of AV ecosystem including AV pilot deployment in Singapore. My roles include support and implement key activities and initiatives with identified AV developers, agencies and collaborators to capitalize on the investment and R&D opportunities in Singapore to build up the AV ecosystem. Responsibilities include working closely with company executives, external stakeholders (within and outside of the Singapore government) to ensure smooth delivery of project and partnership outcomes. Honored to contribute to this team who is invested in developing industry-wide initiatives to scale AV deployments to bring us closer to an unmanned future.

Leading drone operations for Land Transport Authority (LTA - Singapore), Drone Task Force (DTF) & Rail Drone Working Committee - Responsible for leading the exploration & trialling the innovative use of UAS / UAV in land transport operations. Close collaboration with industry and agencies to develop business cases for piloted and autonomous drones such as:1. Infrastructure asset inspections (in GPS-denied conditions) such as deep tunnels2. Construction project monitoring for mega-public infrastructure projects 3. Mapping of physical assets using remote sensing and 3D reconstruction based on aerial images (drone photogrammetry)4. Inspection & surveillance of hazardous / confined spaces In addition to in-house drone pilot training, DTF forges POCs with external collaborators to devise new techniques & guidelines for smart construction, O&M and workforce.Grateful to be part of the LTA DTF to help contribute to the overall Singapore government's public service transformation effort to digitising operations, infrastructure assets & exploring the use of UAVs, AI and data to enhance project management for the industry.

Member of a professional project team that works with a South Korean conglomerate's technology & construction MNC to manage the progress, design, financing, technical aspects & public relations to facilitate the seamless design & construction of a deep underground interchange train station, Addition & Alteration works to existing MRT station, deep shafts, cut & cover tunnels, mined tunnels & NATM tunnels in the central part of Singapore.

Participated in the design of cutterhead for slurry shield (SS) and earth pressure balance (EPB) Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM). Mentored by regional R&D head. Concluded the internship with presentation to the Regional Technical Manager.

Participated in a productivity study to optimize the production of ships' hull panels. Mentored by engineers and department heads from Productions and Process Excellence departments and concluded the internship with a presentation to Keppel's Chief GMO.
