I have been a Fitness Mentor in the REACH program at the College of Charleston, where I worked with students of disability and guide them through a healthy lifestyle. At the College of Charleston, I am a student of Exercise Science and have received an academic scholarship and the Presidents List award for excellence. I have a strong interest in nutrition and health, and I aspire to become a health coach in the future.In addition to my current role as a Fitness Mentor, I have gained valuable experience in a manager position, as Head Sailing Instructor at the Seal Harbor Yacht Club, where I worked with students of different ages and skill levels. I completed the US-Sailing Level 1 certification and the Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification, which enabled me to teach sailing safely and effectively. I also worked as a nutritional intern at Liv Gourmet Granola, where I led in-store demos and gave out free samples of granola to consumers, as well as increasing my nutritional knowledge. I enjoy working with people and promoting healthy and sustainable lifestyles. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as a passion for learning and growing.
