At Olympus, I am responsible for projects of Cloud Solutions using Azure, Office 365 & SharePoint; Business Intelligence using SQL Server platform & Power BI; and Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning with Azure Cognitive Services and Cortana Intelligence Suite.In this context, I have participated in projects for important companies like Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Adecco, Diageo, Recoletos Media Group (owned by Financial Times at the time), Vithas Hospitales (second biggest private hospital group in Spain), Spanish Golf Federation and many other smaller local players in a number of countries. Our solutions served hundreds or even thousands of users in some clients.Moreover, I acquired a wide professional experience in the financial sector, as I participated in projects with a strong Data Analytics component for BBVA, Caja España, Caja Duero & CatalunyaCaixa in Spain; Bancomer in Mexico; BV Financeira in Brazil; and Banesco in Venezuela. These projects resulted in hundreds of thousands of euros in incremental revenue in 12-24 months (in several cases results reached the scale of millions). I also worked for a number of utilities and infrastructure companies like the Portuguese Rail, Light and Gas companies and the metro companies in Madrid, Lisbon and Oporto. Also, for Municipalities (e.g. Madrid & Lisbon), Regional governments (e.g. Madrid & Valencia) and National Governments (e.g. Spain, Brazil, Colombia, Puerto Rico).During these years, I managed teams up to 15 Software Engineers, sometimes from diverse backgrounds and spread across different locations (for instance in India). I have generated more than 7.5 million visitors in the last 24 months in websites I run, serving thousands of registered users at different levels. I also got to know the state-of-the-art e-commerce techniques available today.

Compare&Ganhe, is a FinTech venture in Brazil dedicated to the promotion, comparison and sales of retail financial products and services. I started this venture with two partners in 2013 and was responsible for fund raising, investor pitches, analysis and discussions of business plans with investors, etc. I was able to raise more than 250,000€ from different private investors in order to run the project. At that time, I took the responsibility of starting operations, design online marketing strategy and generate partnerships with financial institutions. Compare&Ganhe has generated a proprietary customer-base of more than 100,000 individuals, besides millions of impacts in customers for many different products. In 2016 Compare&Ganhe was sold to a local player, who operates the business now with a different name and structure.

At Cised I led and participated in a series of strategic consultancy projects. My main role was to build evaluation models to monitor the execution of public policies and infrastructure developments, but also for competitive analysis of industrial sectors. I also actively participated in the design of several strategic plans.I had the opportunity to work with multicultural and geographically diverse teams.
