As a serial entrepreneur in Nigeria's agricultural sector, she has spearheaded ventures aimed at producing healthy, sustainable food while championing women's empowerment in business.Eme's passion for supporting women entrepreneurs to run sustainable businesses led her to serve on the Alumnae Advisory Board for the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative, a vibrant community comprising over 1000 women entrepreneurs across 53 African countries. Her commitment to producing healthy, sustainable food was recognized through her selection for programs such as the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Centre Milestone Maker Program and the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative Program.She co-founded Envirogro Farms Limited, a pioneer in the production of fresh vegetables and a trusted supplier to Nigeria's leading supermarket chains. Envirogro is building of an abattoir that will provide smallholder pig farmers with hygienic, efficient slaughter services, thereby increasing income, market access, and sustainability within the pig farming community. The Federal Ministry of Agriculture has acknowledged Envirogro's impactful contributions by selecting it as a pioneer Nagropreneur.Prior to her entrepreneurial journey, Eme honed her skills in international corporations such as Skype (Microsoft), British Gas, International Finance Corporation (IFC), and ExxonMobil. Her strategic acumen and proficiency in optimizing financial performance have been instrumental in transforming business decision-making processes and driving organizational success. She commenced her career at Arthur Andersen, where she led audits of prominent banks and insurance companies in Nigeria, alongside leading due diligence and consulting projects.Eme holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, complementing her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Port-Harcourt.
