Michael Kummer is a Senior Consultant within FTI’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. Mr. Kummer works on financial due diligence teams representing buyers, sellers or lenders, and offers support in evaluating opportunities across the risk/return spectrum. Mr. Kummer’s buy-side experience includes analyzing quality of earnings, net working capital, debt and debt-like items and the risks associated with proposed transactions. His sell-side experience covers the evaluation of businesses or entities for sale, including quality of earnings, net working capital, internal control and process review, forecasting and post-close support. Mr. Kummer’s buy-side clients have included both large and middle-market private equity funds, lenders, and strategic investors, while his sell-side clients have included businesses in manufacturing and distribution.Mr. Kummer holds a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University.
