I have been with Stability Biologics going on 6 years in the accounting department. It has been an exciting journey where we have grown as a company and I’ve helped develop our accounting team and processes. I formally worked as a Senior Accountant, full-time at Surgery Partners in Nashville. Here, I closed the books for multiple healthcare facilities along with reviewing responsibilities of staff accountant's work. I worked in the Accounting Department at Trevecca, part time, my freshman year of college until December of 2014. I gained some very valuable experience in nonprofit, university accounting with experience with reconciliations specifically. I also worked at the Trevecca Towers as an assistant bookkeeper. I took the job to widen my experience and learn even more about the accounting field. I have made Accounting "my thing" since my Junior year in high school when I took my first Accounting course. I also competed in an Accounting competition my junior and senior year of high school and received first place both years on a district and regional level. I also was the Accounting manager in a class in high school called Retail Operations. As a class, we ran the retail store that sold candy and school supplies as well as run the school's bank. As one can tell, I am passionate about and enjoy the Accounting Field.
