With the recommendation by the Japanese Government, I served as a review editor of IPCC Sixth Assessment Report WG III Chapter 16 Innovation, technology development and transfer.

Duties in General• Analyze and assess policy and regulatory changes and offer intelligence and advices to GE business in electricity sector/market reform and renewable integration • Lobby and engage in policy advocacy activities to Japanese energy policy making and regulatory authorities in wholesale market design, renewable integration, and transmission system operation and investment, and digital policy, through formal and informal meetings and public comments • Initiate and contribute to policy and market reform discussions in customer meetings and internal engagements • Conduct research and contribute to global knowledge networks of GE Government Affairs and Policy activities• Initiate collaborations with Japan, Asia Pacific (APAC) as well as global GE Power, Grid Solutions, and Wind Energy business to advance new energy solutions such as Microgrid, Virtual Power Plant, Storage and Hybrid Solutions • Develop business opportunities and client relationships for Virtual Power Plant and Microgrid business and power grid solution software with both public and private sector clients in Japan • Lead GE Store Solution strategy building and discussions at GE Japan and identify policy and regulatory barriers and their removal strategy/solutions to advance Microgrid/ GE Store solutions in countries across APAC • Promote thought leadership for ASEAN countries based on the on-going GE-MIT Climate Strategy Partnership Framework and analyze business opportunities in small ASEAN countries (Brunei, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Singapore)• Represent GE in international and domestic conferences, seminars and workshops, including the IEA-led Advisory Working Group meeting in Renewable Energy Integration and Expert Workshop for Electricity Security Advisory Panel (ESAP)
