• Ensure good relations are kept between staff, other colleagues and members• To organise deep cleaning duties when required• Prepare and maintain a 2 week Rota, ensuring the Housekeeping teams are adequately staffed at all times• Dealing and negotiating with suppliers, ordering and receiving stock• Recruiting, training and developing staff• Ensuring staff is up to standard and any maintenance issues are reported• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies and procedures, COSHH• Maintaining a lost properties log• Daily supervision of the housekeeping staff• Attend and actively participate in daily and weekly Leadership Team meetings

• Dealing with suppliers of linen, cleaning materials and guest supplies, such as soap, shampoo, etc.• Controlling supply costs, as well as laundry, maintenance and wages• Ensuring lost property is kept safely and returned to its owner• Making sure all rooms are ready for occupying on check-in.• Making sure all equipment meets standards, and all faults etc are reported immediately.• Ensure all health & safety policies are adhered to. This is with particular reference to COSHH and accident reporting.• Train and mentor any new members of staff and to provide extra training for existing staff
