Created a equipment management CAD model that allows for dynamically locating all the $270 million worth of equipment for Project ICON by crate. Model is searchable and contains several key attributes for each piece, allowing audits, locating, and planning to be take a fraction of the time it would using standard methods. Model also allowed for storing 336% of the capacity of the very valuable temperature-controlled class four storage space. Responsible for all duties as a project manager at a premier heavy industrial general contracting and design-build company, specializing in industrial construction, engineering solutions, and material management. Daily duties include management of all aspects of project construction, & coordination. Managed all aspects of the material management portion of United States Steel’s Project ICON. Including local logistics, receiving, setting, staging, storing and maintenance on over $270 million worth of equipment for construction of an endless steel production facility. Equipment was stored in a 250,000 sqft warehouse and 350,000 sqft setting yard. Some equipment weighed over 96 tons. Managed the constructed of a temperature and humidity controlled 350,000 square foot class 4 storage area inside the warehouse. Work included managing all trades to construct 500 linear foot demising wall, refrigerator curtain, electrical and lighting upgrades, and HVAC system installation. To maximize the limited square footage of the warehouse and setting yard and to work around existing building constraints, created a searchable 3D CAD model system, utilizing AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Drone point cloud scans. CAD Model used to keep inventory, & to layout, plan, locate, equipment. Created all documentation & workflows for receiving & maintenance, including timesheets, daily reports, Job safety assessments, delivery, and maintenance outlooks. -
