Snow Data Center Software Tech, Software Development Engineer- Integrated Khuene+Nagel as a new shipping carrier to deliver AWS Snow devices across all APAC regions with a 95% carrier availability across four distinct regions. Created a fully automated system by streamlining the process of generating shipment payloads, querying the K+N API, and returning shipping labels. The automated system saw regular usage, with an average of 30 devices shipped per week, and was in process of expanding to three new regions in the CN partition.- Oversaw an intern program as a mentor by providing guidance throughout a 12-week program. Provided direction during the onboarding process for two weeks, led the project design for four weeks, and provided coding support for an additional four weeks. Fiber Optic Bronchoscope with Embedded Systems, Senior Design- Integrated image sensors onto a flexible bronchoscope to transmit and display real-time video, improving the transmission lag from 1 second to under 100 milliseconds and the frame-rate-per-second from an average 30 FPS to 60 FPS. Post-processed the video transmissions with edge detection and color, using the OpenCV library on the Raspberry Pi. - Went through the full development and design lifecycle, including bid proposals, work breakdown structures, GANTT project scheduling, design reviews, technical reviews, and research poster presentations. - Nominated for consideration of the Walter C.
