Editor work for the oldest Nordic scientific journal still in publication. I proofread and commented on texts, sought out and engaged reviewers for scholarly books, and handled the day-to-day logistics of the journal. In addition, I maintained the journal website on WordPress.

I have translated several texts of varying lengths, primarily scientific work within the social sciences and humanities.

I provided guided tours in the medieval castle for visitors in three languages. The content of the tours required me to assess the level of interest that each group of visitors had for different areas of history. Since the tours were intended to be both entertaining and informative, a good grasp of the history of the castle and general Finnish history was required alongside a proficiency at public speaking.

My responsibilities consisted of packing, transporting, and unpacking the belongings of the customers safely and efficiently. While working, I was occasionally required to discuss the customers' preferences with them, which improved my customer service skills.

I assembled and disassembled audio equipment for outdoor music performances. I learned to work under pressure as inclement weather and tight schedules sometimes made work more challenging.

My duties included written translation, information retrieval both in libraries and on the internet, and assisting in the organizing of research seminars and conferences. In addition, I handled day-to-day office tasks and ran errands.
