Led the design and implementation of branding programs for various clients on the Romanian market, bridging the distance between companies and their intended stakeholders.

Developed AGORA Debate into one of the biggest NGOs in the region centered on debate, rhetoric and communication. Besides the management and planning of the association’s yearly calendar, I have also organized countless public speaking events, and grown the high-school and university network to national level. I have also created the Cluj Public Debates concept, a series of Oxford-style public debates on the hottest issues for the Cluj community, from urban planning to voting access and medical policy.Activity highlights:- managing over 45 debate events, including the National High-School Debate Championship 2012, event with over 250 participants, and the 1999 National Student Debate Competition,in collaboration with the Romanian Parliament, an event with 400 participants- implementing the “Romania in international debating” program, which promoted the presence and participation of Romanian debaters in international debating competitions - managing the PHARE project “Human Rights Education in Schools”, in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Commission in Bucharest- setting up of the Babes-Bolyai University Debating Union in 2014, the first organization of its kind in Romania

Since joining Ax Perpetuum, I've helped implement its high-growth strategy, through a better structuring of marketing activities across its traditional business lines (from interior decoration projects to packaging products) and the digital space, while leading the development and launch of new products and brands as part of the company’s forays on new markets such as FMCG. As General Marketing manager I have:- coordinated marketing activities and budgeting for all of its seven business lines - managed Perpetuum’s digital strategy and new site launches for some of its stalwart e-commerce sites such as borcane.ro- oversaw the data-gathering and writing process on Perpetuum’s business plan, outlining its development strategy for the next 5 years and beyond.

Helped increase profits and efficiency, providing guidance on the restructuring of the state-owned utility, while also ensuring that the company functioned on a balanced budget, and started the preliminary phase of Electrica Nord’s privatization process.

Worked with the ministry’s departments of exterior commerce and structural funds in order to advance strategic programmes centered on the promotion of Romanian businesses abroad, while coordinating the Minister’s office initiatives set on the development of Romania’s business environment. In this position, I have:- worked closely with companies in the technology sector in order to set up the Cluj IT Cluster and its Supervisory Board- reorganized the structural funds department- organized events and public consultations with the business sector aimed at identifying the best practices and measures needed to boost the Romanian economy

Coordinated the company’s consultancy business aimed at helping firms access structural EU funding, formed a team of consultants with a variety of competencies, from public services to renewable energy, and increased the client portfolio to over 30 clients with total value of projects managed over 50 million Euros.

Led Branzas’ brand consulting department, advising clients from various fields: from FMCG to construction, technology and distribution, and was responsible for the management, planning and implementing of branding, strategy and visual identity projects for all of the company’s clients. Among the most significant projects:- redesign of Ursus, Romania’s leading beer brand- retail branding for the Ariel, Pampers and Herbal Essences brands- corporate communications for Microsoft and IBM Romania- brand launch and development for industry leaders Elis Pavaje and AVE Chicken

Wrote and edited the daily news for the Cluj area between 1998-2000, and the sports news both at the regional and national level between 2000-2002.
