As the Product Owner for CityLink, I had a dual responsibility in shaping the user experience and functionality of our car-sharing service. In addition to defining product requirements and prioritizing features, I was deeply involved in designing intuitive interfaces and user journeys. This meant creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that not only met our users' needs but also reflected our brand identity and values. By combining my expertise in product management with my design sensibilities, I ensured that CityLink provided a delightful and efficient experience for our users from start to finish. I worked closely with our development team to prioritize features, clarify requirements, and ensure that we were delivering value to our users with each update. On a practical level, this meant overseeing the product roadmap and making decisions about which features to build and when. I also collected feedback from users through various channels and used it to inform our decision-making process, ensuring that we were continuously improving the service based on real-world insights.Furthermore, given that our product depended on specialized hardware for vehicle control and tracking, I took on the responsibility of selecting the appropriate solution and vendor. I led the effort to integrate this hardware into our vehicles, ensuring that the installation process was streamlined for ease and efficiency while prioritizing vehicle security. By overseeing this aspect of our product development, I ensured that CityLink's technology infrastructure was robust and reliable, contributing to the overall success and functionality of our car-sharing service.

A critical aspect of overseeing our business operations revolved around having robust data management and reporting tools in place, alongside essential tools for fleet management and day-to-day operations. These comprehensive sets of tools were indispensable for ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency across various aspects of our business.As such, I crafted a robust and user-friendly back-office system that serves as the backbone for multiple internal tools and applications. Leveraging React's component-based architecture, I crafted a suite of reusable components that streamline development and ensure consistency across the platform.One of the system's standout features is its automated network requests, driven by conventions that simplify data fetching and management. Integrated seamlessly with Redux Sagas, this approach not only optimizes performance but also automates error handling and request retries, enhancing reliability and user experience.Furthermore, I developed comprehensive reporting tools that provide actionable insights and performance indicators. Every aspect of the system was designed with scalability and extensibility in mind, ensuring it can adapt to evolving business needs and requirements with ease.

Transitioning from CTO to CEO has broadened my focus from technology to all aspects of our business. As CEO, I lead our team towards our goals and I ensured financial stability, but I also kept most of my previous duties - the perks of being part of a small and dynamic team.My role involved setting our company's vision and objectives, driving business development efforts to identify new opportunities for growth, and managing financial planning.I represented our company externally, engaging with stakeholders and sharing our story, vision, and values. It was an exciting and rewarding role that challenged me to innovate, adapt, and lead with conviction.

As part of a small team, I worked on projects using various technologies and platforms.Most of the projects I worked on consisted of several web (front-end, back-office) and mobile apps (android, ios), together with all necessary web services. Some projects required completely different approaches and tools (native Windows and Mac VPN clients, for example), quite a few required real-time communication and IoT hardware (mobile POS).

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of a small startup, I've had the privilege of wearing multiple hats and playing a pivotal role in shaping the company's technological vision and strategy. Leading the technical team, I've overseen the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from idea, to implementation, to product launch.Our focus has been mostly on delivering web & native mobile applications, for various local and international clients.In addition to technical leadership, my role as CTO has extended beyond traditional boundaries, requiring me to oversee various operational and administrative aspects of the business. While guiding the team in architecture design, tech stack selection, and project management, I've also been deeply involved in recruitment, onboarding, and team management.Beyond technical responsibilities, I've been instrumental in managing relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners. Moreover, I've implemented robust quality assurance processes and standards to maintain the integrity and quality of our projects.In this dynamic new business environment, my role as CTO has been multifaceted, requiring agility and adaptability.

In my initial role as an e-content developer at Siveco Romania, I collaborated within a small team to craft interactive lessons according to specific scenarios. Emphasizing user-centric design, we tailored our creations to suit the needs and preferences of our target audience, adhering to best practices in UI/UX. Drawing from prior experience in Adobe Flash, known for its capability in delivering rich interactions and visually engaging interfaces, I swiftly transitioned to developing and maintaining reusable components. This evolution enabled my colleagues to efficiently produce content with enhanced speed and quality, ultimately optimizing our content creation process.
