- Maintain a working knowledge of and ability to communicate CCRC services, levels of care, and conduct walking campus tours- Understand and abide by Resident Rights, HIPAA, and CMS requirements, in turn, helping to instill confidence in families and residents, and ensure that the facility is operating in a safe and ethical manner- Assist activities director with the development of monthly activity calendars- Create and schedule social media posts and coverage of facility events- Design marketing collateral for dissemination to prospective residents, flyers for social events, invitations and more using Canva Pro- Utilize computerized referral programs daily: Curaspan, EPIC, Allscripts, NaviHealth, etc.- Foster and maintain a positive working relationship with local hospitals, hospice companies, social workers, and other CCRC's to build trust and create a more collaborative environment, leading to better outcomes for residents and their families and an increase in referrals- Maintain efficient admission process by communicating with families to determine appropriate level of care and to complete applications prior to admission- Work efficiently in PCC/EMR by entering admissions demographic data, verifying primary and secondary insurance, and scanning orders, face sheets, and other clinical documentation- Educate residents and families on insurance benefits and coverage, Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, authorizations and application processes- Submit medical insurance authorizations and provide updates to insurance companies for continued stay approvals in conjunction with our MDS coordinator and IDT team
