Emilee Minor is enrolled in the W.P. Carey School of Business and the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, pursuing a degree in Business Communications (B.A.) with a minor in Dance.From a young age, Emilee began working professionally as a dancer for a company that performed across the country at corporate conferences and celebrations, as well as for network television companies and charitable organizations. These opportunities enabled her to contribute to the community in various ways, from donating free lessons to younger students to helping raise funds for organizations supporting mental health resources, veteran service dogs, and epilepsy monitoring resources.Upon arriving at ASU, Emilee continued to engage with her community by volunteering her time with religious organizations, where she works with high school students and cares for children at her church. She is passionate about expanding her understanding of the world through academic classes, focusing on organization and management, conflict and negotiation, and communication in the workplace. Emilee actively applies these skills in the real world, working in a customer service-oriented role at a local restaurant.Outside of academics, Emilee enjoys hiking and exploring her current home in Tempe, Arizona, as well as traveling to new places both inside and outside of the country. Proficient in both English and German, she enjoys traveling abroad and immersing herself in new cultures.
