Working with the Corporate Facilities Manager, I created new visual and computational models showing energy and equipment usage, supported dining services during a shift in management, organized a $900k renovation through Microsoft Project, and implemented an online catering order system.

Under the Holmberg lab at the University of Washington, I fabricated and tested batteries for clean energy applications. Our research looked into sodium-ion batteries with antimony negative electrodes and how the batteries performed at different temperatures. We looked at antimony due to its quick charge and discharge rate as well as it's high theoretical capacity when compared to standard lithium-ion batteries. I used Excel to analyze differential capacity versus voltage, giving us a visual of the chemical changes in the battery by temperature. My batteries were all created in argon glove boxes. I was also able to assist one of my mentors with the creation of silicon-germanium nanowires in a supercritical fluid liquid solid (SFLS) reactor.
