As Maya Angelou so brilliantly once stated, "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.".I am currently serving as a volunteer in the Peace Corps as a Youth Facilitator in the Philippines. While an advertising graduate from the University of Florida, and an eclectic work history, my passion of people and facilitating them to grow into the best person they can be has always led me to many places. And each place has inspired my growth as a professional, facilitator, and humanitarian.I have learned how to be understanding and flexible. I no longer underestimate the power of a simple conversation over a cup of coffee, and do not take anything for granted. I have determination in the most difficult of situations, and keep a clear head in moments of uncertainty. I am repeatedly humbled and remember there is always something to learn. Overall, all my experience has equipped me with a set of unique qualities and attributes that, I believe, are valuable for the world. When returning back to America, I plan on pursuing my Masters of Occupational Therapy for children with disabilities. I believe that when passion and hard work come together, the impossible becomes reality.
