Worked on initiatives related to Groupon's mobile website:* Defined a post-subscriptions roadmap for Groupon's mobile website* Analyzed an A/B experiment on email subscriptions feature on the mobile website* Built a basic financial model to estimate the impact of a business decision

* Designed organization of support operations for software used by newspapers across the MENA region.* Deployed KnowledgeView's software for customers across the MENA region and supported customers in all software related issues.* Led and mentored new team members in Lebanon and KSA.

* Led team in Lebanon and Canada to design and launch KnowledgeView’s first iPhone app. This pioneering app launched KnowledgeView into the MENA mobile market* Project managed cross-functional team of 4 (in Beirut and Qatar) to design and launch the iPhone, iPad and Android apps for Qatar News Agency. These apps are used by senior figures in the Qatari government and generated new contracts for KnowledgeView with Qatar News Agency and its affiliates

* Managed the on-site software deployment project for Al Jarida, an influential Kuwaiti newspaper. Installed technical aspects and performed training for IT dept. and news editors in Kuwait. Achieved project in record time and allowed Al Jarida to be ready before the launch date despite the technical obstacles faced.* Managed on-site editorial software project of Al Watan newspaper in Qatar in November and December 2006. This resulted in moving the whole newspaper (more than 100 editors) from print to a digital workflow, reducing the production time and the reliance on paper. Conducted technical work and training with editors in Qatar.* Led several additional software deployment projects across the MENA region, gaining cross-cultural teamwork skills and regional knowledge.

In my main project, I re-developed a website for a major classified service used in all Arab countries. I updated site from being outdated and buggy to innovative and customer-friendly, using the latest technologies.
