Led the NY Energy Manager, distributed solar + storage advisory, and demand flexibility solutions to help NYPA's customers decarbonize and save money.

The NY Energy Manager is an energy management information system and advisory service. It gathers, stores, and presents public building energy data, allowing government facility managers across New York State to improve energy performance and manage utility costs. The NY Energy Manager enables portfolio level energy performance benchmarking; virtual energy audits; prescriptive analytics; improved operations management; and supports measurement and verification of the impacts of energy conservation measures, programs, and projects in support of further investment in clean energy.

Taught Global Sustainability

Led sales and client management for utility clients in Northeast. Designed and implemented innovative, cost-effective program solutions with utility clients to meet their energy efficiency and demand response needs for residential, commercial and industrial customers.

Worked with Ecova's utility clients in the Northeast to ensure efficiency goals and regulatory needs were addressed while supporting energy efficiency program planning and design. Provided strategic direction on future energy efficiency programs and evaluated new energy-efficient technologies to add to program portfolios.

Worked with private multi-site companies, including both commercial and industrial facilities, to develop and implement strategic energy management programs resulting in reduced energy and water consumption and costs.

Managed the implementation of residential energy-efficiency programs for electric utilities. Oversaw program design and implementation, including managing program budgets, leading and developing staff, developing marketing plans to foster customer participation, education, and awareness, and evaluating program design and delivery to mitigate regulatory risk and achieve program goals.

Launched residential energy-efficient lighting programs and a commercial energy-efficient outdoor LED lighting program. Created program implementation plans, developed program budgets, helped hire and train program managers and field staff, and conducted kick-off meetings with clients. Liaison between lighting manufacturers, retailers, and program teams to ensure fluidity and success of residential energy-efficient lighting programs.
