I moved on to Worximity Technology, where I have been ever since. I started out as the Director of Marketing and Communications where I continued to create and maintain marketing strategies, materials, plans, and campaigns. One of my biggest accomplishments during my time in this role was the launch and rapid business development of Tileboard, a professional productivity mobile app that helps businesses run more efficiently.

I continued my work in social media and communication at EAL Stratége where I managed communication efforts for several clients in a variety of industries. This role was the culmination of my past works at agencies and as a social media strategist. It really showed me the impressive power that these tools have and how I can best use them to help people.

This startup was centered on the organization of sporting events including foot races and obstacle courses. As the communication and social media specialist, I planned, designed, executed, and evaluated all forms of communication for the company including, but not limited to, social media, newsletters, promotional items, events, and web development.

One of my longest positions has been with Orfé Design and Com where I constantly worked with clients in the food industry with their branding, or re-branding, efforts. At Orfé, the motto was “Think Human,” which I know sounds very straightforward and common sensical, but you’d be shocked at how many people choose to steer away from what people actually care about. This is where my anthropological education meets marketing and is why I have constantly focused on the human side of marketing.

At La Tête Chercheuse, I worked primarily on creating marketing presentations, content, and materials for the several clients of this agency. The agency experience is something I always recommend to people to get a good understanding of what it’s like to work in fast-paced marketing.

While receiving my bachelor’s degree, I worked as an intern at DECODE. As an intern, my primary focus was conducting research projects for clients in the food industry and government. It was a great experience to learn while working, which is something I constantly do to this day.
