Leading the development of AI-based prototypes within the EUROCONTROL CNS unit and coordinating CNS Innovation.

The integrated CNS concept has been developed to support the evolution and modernization of the CNS infrastructure. Because of the current mix of digital and analogue technologies, performance-based concepts and the introduction of GNSS in multiple areas of CNS, the traditional single system CNS concept and the separation between the Communication, Navigation and Surveillance domains are becoming difficult to maintain. Integrated CNS is about considering the C, N and S domains as one.This concept is developed within the SESAR framework, and I am supporting the development, while ensuring a full coordination with all ATM stakeholders through the EUROCONTROL working groups (CNS Team, Navigation, Communication and Surveillance Steering Groups). Technical responsibility : ✔ Specialist of the Flight Management System, Global Navigation Satellite System and Airport Navigation System for the new ATR avionic suite o Writing of the high level requirement documents, review of the detailed requirement documents o Writing of the ground and flight test requests according to development and certification requirements o Responsible for the interaction with the supplier at technical level and for planning issues o Review and comment of the FAA and EASA certification plan✔ Manager of the integration ground test for the new avionic suite✔ Manager of the technical feasibility studies on the future navigation systems: management of an internship student on the feasibility study of RNP AR, GBAS, SBAS, LPV on the ATR new avionic suitePersonal skills :✔ Ability to work and reach objectives with minimum guidance and tight deadlines✔ Ability to handle demands from different stakeholders: test pilots, suppliers, management✔ Ability to lead engineering project
