Currently, I work as a Behavioral Technician and Medical Assistant Intern, and I also volunteer with the Flying Samaritans. These roles have enhanced my ability to collaborate effectively with teams, achieve objectives, and provide compassionate care to patients. I am detail-oriented, skilled at identifying and addressing gaps in patient needs, and proficient in both English and Spanish. Additionally, I have experience in collecting and managing data across various Electronic Medical Records systems. I am eager to build upon these experiences and continue growing professionally in the future.As an undergraduate student, I conducted research on Drosophila melanogaster, the common fruit fly, and Acinetobacter baumannii, an antibiotic-resistant bacterium. In the lab, I frequently reviewed scientific literature and used this knowledge to contribute to the development of the materials and methods section of our manuscript. I demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting my team and was adaptable in my role. My responsibilities included managing fruit fly populations, tracking mortality data following bacterial injections, and training other team members. These experiences have equipped me with valuable skills that I believe will enable me to make a positive impact on any project.
