As part of the ICEX program, I enjoyed a year in the Barceló Group, which gave me a global vision of the entire Barceló Group in its part of EMEA. Undoubtedly an unforgettable experience that I had in the Deputy Department to the CEO. Among the main functions, in order to optimize the Europe Hotels were:- Analysis of monthly results of the hotels in Europe portfolio- Development of reporting system and processes among hotel managers, hotel departments and the headquarter- Optimize cost structure and purchases quality objectives,sustainability and efficiency- Locate opportunities for innovation, economic viability analysis.- Review and develop reporting project for hotel owners- Market Research of new Hotels plots and the competitors- Forecast and financial viability reports- Internal manual support from the Quality Department

Within the first part of the ICEX program, I had the chance to work for a whole year in the Spanish economic office in Slovakia, hand in hand with the Office Counselor and the analyst.
