IT Infrastructure project management for AXA Tech. Management of a portfolio of 15 to 20 projects between international, regional (Mediterranean and Latin America) and local (Spain)

Project pricing and proposal generation.Project Management.Technology and methodology evaluation:SOA, Mobile App development (iOS and Android), Cloud architectures.Agile development methodologies, Scrum, Kamban, Lean startup.

• Management of the company's IT department, including direct management of the development and support groups (7-8 people). • IT project planning and management, including the IT information security project and the development of the new Tugestionline client service portal. • Establishment of formal processes for the development, testing and production environments, including SCM/version control, and incidence management. • Setup and supervision of project management processes for the control of the Tugestionline project where we had to coordinate the activities of six contractors and the local development team, with a peak of around 50 people involved. • Supplier management and control. • Weekly reports to BBVA's Project Office and Management.

• IT department structure definition and setup.• Management of all IT projects for the company, specially the development of the eConta's customer service portal. Responsibilities: Development of new business areas such as system integration, business process management (BPMS) for ITIL, and web project management.Subdirector of the First Spanish BPMS Congress in Madrid (http://www.club-bpm.com/Memorias%20Congreso%20BPMS%202005.pdf)Experience acquired: Business Process Management. PHP, J2EE, Liferay and MySQL development.

Responsibilities: Companywide capacity planning process coordination. Generation and validation of projects for their inclusion in the company's IT plan.Experience acquired: ITIL Methodology; Capacity management of an extensive technology base; BSC (Balanced Score Card) for the generation and management of key business indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities: Project direction and management for PDVSA's Y2K server remediation project, where about 1000 servers (600 NT, 400 UNIX) and around 800 UNIX workstations had to be checked and updated. This had to be done in 120 different locations around the country.Experience acquired: Project management for a very large and complex project. Use of PMI's project management methodologies. Multidisciplinary workgroup coordination, conflict management, project organization and management.

Responsibilities: Management and coordination of a task-force created for the stabilization and optimization on the supercomputing environment (IBM-SP2) at INTEVEP, in collaboration with SAIC (USA). Management of INTEVEP's supercomputing centre.Experience acquired: Oversee the Design and development of the IT infrastructure in a very demanding and high-availability environment. Coordination of multidisciplinary and multicultural technical teams.

Responsibilities: Definition of INTEVEP's IT Architecture. Planning of IT resources needed for the R&D activities of PDVSA within the INTEVEP.Experience acquired: Planning and design of IT resource provision.Coordination of technical teams across the PDVSA corporation.

Responsibilities: Management of a four person technical programming. Development and supervision of artificial intelligence projects.Experience acquired: Workgroup Management, Teamwork, Project management and development. Expert system development.
