About Emilio Dal Re

I am an environmental economist (PhD) with a background in business administration and finance, and expertise in climate-change mitigation policies and impact assessment. I am co-founder and CFO of the start-up Unbound Potential, whose mission is to build the simplest stationary battery and fasten the transition to a net-zero economy. I am impact-driven and a firm believer in innovation as the driver for economic prosperity. I worked and lived in many international contexts such as Africa (Uganda), Central America (Guatemala), and the USA (California-Berkeley). In these locations I have studied and experienced the impact of climate change and decided I would have dedicated my professional career to its mitigation. For my Ph.D. thesis I won the Global Highly Commended Award at the U21 3MT Competition, the FAN Award for outstanding scientific achievements at the University of Zurich, and I was nominated for the SDG Impact Award at the faculty of economics at university of Zurich.
