Hello! My name is Emilio Faim, I am a Computer Programming & Applications alumni from Florida State University. I am from Caracas, Venezuela. As long as I can remember I have always been around a work environment. My parents educated me and taught me a lot of the most important lessons of my life inside a retail store. This made me very comfortable around work and all of its implications and it can be reflected on my work experience.First I worked as a distribution manager at the main storage of my family's business and at the same time I helped out in the retail stores whenever they were short staffed, then because of Venezuela's situation we moved to Panama and there my father decided to start a restaurant, which project I helped him to build. At this time I was returning to university after leaving Venezuela, so I enrolled in FSU's campus in Panama City. The time at the restaurant helped me to learn and understand all I needed to know about customer care.After two years living and working in Panama I took the opportunity of moving to the United States and finish my career at FSU's main campus, the first six months of adaptation were a little tough but after I found myself comfortable I meet again with the retail world and got a job at the Seminole Sportshop, in which my main responsibilities were to supply the concessions inside of the stadium and to help in the register at the store whenever it was needed. That was a short term opportunity offered only during Football season so, as soon as it ended a very good friend of mine referred me at her office and that is where I currently work.Along with all these job experiences I have carried with me a passion for music and it is reflected on my career as a DJ and event planner, almost 10 years of experience in the field. I have been performing in every place I have moved, from small restaurants at Caracas to the most important clubs in the Tallahassee Area such as The Strip, Recess and The Standard.
