Main activities and responsibility:• Waste Recovery plants monitoring, to ensure compliance with Comieco’s contractual obligations.• Environmental and regulatory evaluation of Consortium members and of Facilities in Contracting Process.• Technical evaluation of treatment plants members of consortium, and of Facilities in Contracting Process. Technical Assistance in revamping activities of existing recovery plants. • Drafting of contract specifications, in actuation of the national ANCI-CONAI Agreement (Comieco is part of CONAI, ANCI is the national association of Municipalities).• Waste Treatment Cost Analysis, monitoring of main cost items and yearly updating of Contractual “feed in tariff” adopted for Consortium's members. • Development of Comieco’s Pilot Project for RFID traceability of EOW streams outgoing from waste sorting plants ad incoming to paper mills.• Member of working groups composed by national Authorities and Trade Associations (CONAI, Assocarta, UNIRIMA, Italian Ministry of Environment, ARERA, etc.) for sectorial national guidelines; analysis and evaluation of collection, treatment and recycling costs; identification and implementation of sectorial best available techniques; enforcement of national regulatory framework.• Assistance to local Authorities (Municipality, Province, Region) for Waste Management Planning and Waste collection and treatment tenders. • Management of disputes between recovery plants and recipient paper mills.• Management of local waste management emergencies.

Main activities and responsibility:• Planning (Waste treatment plants, Water and Wastewater drainage systems, Wastewater treatment plants, Renewables)• Permits and authorizations management, according to national and EU regulations (Environmental Impact Assessment, IPPC Technical Reports, CPI firefighting permits, etc). • Capex/Opex analysis (Business plan, Budget, Forecast, P/L Analysis, M&A )• Commissioning and startup of waste treatment facilities. • Coordination of multidisciplinary teams (internal resources and external advisors) • Development and implementation of environmental monitoring plans (waste treatment plants IPPC e non-IPPC) • Management and monitoring of Environmental regulatory compliance for IPPC e non-IPPC installations (landfills, incinerators, waste recycling plants, anaerobic digestion plants, renewable energy power plants).

Technical and procedural assistance and consultancy for the Italian Ministry of Environment - “Environmental Impact Assessment” Commission (PriceWaterHouseCoopers Advisory, Tree S.r.l.).• Project Manager: Preliminary analysis of Environmental Impact Assessment to evaluate the main impacts on natural, social and economical environment according to Italian and European regulatory framework (waste incinerators, dangerous waste treatment plants, highways, power plants, etc). • Project Assistant: technical and procedural assistance for Environmental Impact Assessment Commission members.
