I am an exhibition design leader with over twenty years of experience developing commercially successful exhibitions of various sizes. Passionate about the power of storytelling, I bring project visions to life using a human-centred design process that seeks to spark meaningful experiences and public engagement. In my approach to design direction, I combine creativity and organization by communicating complex ideas through the built environment of an exhibition while also performing strategic planning, budget management, staffing, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. I employ a collaborative design method that leverages the diversity of ideas in order to create visual experiences that inspire viewers to consider different perspectives and take action. My colleagues would describe me as a highly-effective project manager who excels at delivering thoughtful exhibitions that meet budget and timeline expectations.I have delivered a number of talks and facilitated workshops on the topic of design, including: ‘How To Make Absolutely All the People Happy All the Time: Experimenting with New Methods in Exhibition Development for Staff and Visitor Engagement’, ‘Design Thinking and Creativity’, ‘Designing an Exhibit about Asian Design’, ‘Creative Culture’, ‘Museum Exhibitions as Dialogue’, ‘Museum Exhibitions as Communication’.
